All of the sudden I have gone from having visions of BCS bowls for the Utes to World Series titles for the Dodgers and now I'm seeing the Lombardi trophy make a visit to Miami in a year that the Superbowl is played in Arizona.
That's right folks with the Dolphins doubling their win total from last year they have officially put themselves back in the Superbowl picture. In bringing down the Patriots the Dolphins took back a sense of pride in their division race. Granted the Patriots are a shell of their former selves since their demoralizing loss to the Giants (the loss of some guy named Brady apparently is a big deal too), but still these are the Patriots. With their win over the Chargers they showed that Ronnie Brown is the real deal (again). He averaged 5.2 yards per carry and his longest run of the day was 13 yards. That's some pretty consistent running. His 5 TDs on the season aren't too bad either.
The Dolphins haven't been a running back town since Larry Csonka and we all know how that turned out (for those of you who don't it turned out to be the only undefeated and therefore best team in NFL history).
In parting I leave you with a video of Bill Walton being Bill Walton.
